Goblin Valley State Park

Scores of intricately eroded hoodoos greet visitors to Goblin Valley, enjoy a hike among haunting rocks and coves. Goblin Valley is between Green River and Hanksville, off State Route 24. The park is a great base camp to explore and hike in the adjacent San Rafael Swell. Facilities include a 21-unit campground with picnic table, parking pad and barbecue grill culinary water, modern rest rooms with hot showers, dump station and observation overlook.

Green River State Park

An oasis on the west bank of the Green River where tall cottonwood trees shade beautiful lawns. The park is a favorite point to embark on river trips.  Also, it is a great base camp for seeing scenic Southeastern Utah. The park sports a nine-hole golf course, meandering fairways, lakes, and sand traps makes this course a favorite for golfers of all ages. State Park facilities include: 42-unit camp-ground with picnic tables, parking pads, barbecue grills, group use pavilion, amphitheater, modern rest rooms with hot showers, day use area, dump station, and boat launching ramp. Millsite State Park

A secluded 435-acre lake at the mouth of scenic Ferron Canyon awaits visitors who love water-oriented activities including year round fishing. A beautiful 9-hole golf course is adjacent to the park. The park also offers access to excellent off-highway vehicle and mountain bike riding areas. Millsite is located 4 miles west of Highway 10 near Ferron. The facilities include, 20 shoreline campgrounds, picnic tables, fire pits, restrooms, hot showers, dump Station, lawn areas for tents, boat ramp, docks, and a sandy beach.

Huntington State Park

This beautifully landscaped park is 237 acres of boating, swimming and fishing fun. It is located just outside Huntington on State Route 10. Sandstone cliffs and chiseled peaks are a spectacular backdrop. Facilities include 22 unit campground, picnic sites, group pavilion with picnic tables, rest rooms, hot showers, dump stations, boat ramp, docks, and beautiful swimming beaches.

Swinging Bridge

The San Rafael Bridge is one of the first cable supported bridges to span the San Rafael River. It is locally referred to as the Swinging Bridge. A newer has been constructed for vehicular traffic, but the old Swinging Bridge can still be walked across.Camping facilities are provided at the San Rafael Bridge Recreation Site adjacent to the San Rafael River. The recreation site is bordered by the lofty escarpment to the north and large buttes to the east and west. Camping facilities at San Rafael Bridge include tent pads, picnic tables, toilets, and fire rings. No drinking water is available. When camping at other areas, please use existing undeveloped campsites to avoid impacting new areas. No reservations are taken for this campground.

Swasey's Beach  

Access to  Swasey's Beach and campground begins from the Green River Visitor Center in downtown Green River. You then progress east along Main Street to the intersection with Hastings Road. Turn left (north) and follow the relatively flat road for 6.3 miles to the intersection with a dirt road just before a ranch entrance. Turn right onto this road and follow it for 3.8 miles to Swasey Beach and the river rapid of the same name just upstream.  No reservations are taken for this campground.

From Fairview, Utah take State Highway 31, going west to campground. From Huntington, Utah take State Highway 31, going south to campground.

Indian Creek  
  Located 7 miles northwest of Orangeville, Utah, on SR 29. Turn onto Cottonwood Creek Road 040 and travel 12 miles north to Upper Joes Valley.

Forest Service Little Bear Group  
  Site is located 13 miles west of Huntington Utah along Utah Highway 31.Activities in the area include, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and viewing native wildlife and beautiful scenery.  Fire Rings, Fishing, Grills, Stream, Vault Toilet.  Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Vault toilet and 2 cooking stations available. Please bring your own drinking water No livestock No ATV's allowed Please bring garbage bags. Facility is pack-in, pack-out. There is no electricity, water, or sewer at this campground.

Emery County Recreation Dept's Bear Creek Campground

Emery County Recreation boasts one of the finest campground facilities in the state.  Nestled approximately eight miles up Huntington Canyon, Bear Creek Campground offers guests easy access from Huntington Canyon Road and nearness to Huntington City, while still preserving the outdoor experience. Campground Facilities include: Large Pavilion - with electricity, Small Pavilion -  with electricity, 29 Campsites - each includes: Culinary Water Hook-up/Faucet, Fire Pit, Picnic Table, Restroom Facilities, Horseshoe Pits, Volleyball Court, Handicap Parking

Cedar Mountain Overlook & Campground
  Cedar Mountain towers over the northern San Rafael Swell and is ideal for getting a 'bird's eye" view. An exhibit at this cliff-top overlook summarizes area geology. Picnic tables and toilets are available. Cedar Mountain is southeast of the town of Cleveland. There are 10 camp sites.
